| FIERY BEEF STIR FRY | ||||||||||||

| 1. Heat 30ml (2tbsp) oil in a large non-stick wok or frying pan. Fry 225g (1/2lb) lean beef steaks cut into thin strips with one clove of crushed garlic and 1.25cm (1/2 inch) piece fres root ginger, peeled and finely chopped for 2 - 4 minutes. 2. Add one carrot, peeled and cut into thin strips, five spring onions sliced, one yellow pepper, deseeded and cut into thin strips and a small can of pineapple chunks (225g), drained and the juice kept seperately for later. Cook for 3 minutes. 3. Mix together 30ml (2tbsp) chilli sauce,30ml (2tbsp) tomato puree, 10ml (2tsp) worcester sauce and the pineapple juice. add to the pan tossing continuously, and heat for 1 minute. 4. Serve with boiled rice or noodles. |
